Nursing in Public is beneficial to the community.

I believe all children have a right to eat in public. I believe a mother shouldn't be asked or forced to drop what she's doing and leave the room to nurse her child. We have a right to feed our children wherever we are, covered or uncovered! Breast or bottle.

My argument for public breastfeeding is simple. Humans have decided along the way that we should only be shaming our bodies sexually, instead of embracing our gift as a woman and mother: the gift of life. I'm not saying breasts can't be sexual, but I'm saying they should be respected as functional 'tools'  if you will, lol. You wouldn't attack a mother for public bottle feeding, would you? Did you say no? Awesome! Then please respect our right to nurse our children in public as well. ♥

Humans are mammals, and all mammals nurse their young!

Furthermore, I'm willing to argue that people need to see public breastfeeding. Why? Because humans have been driven so far away from their instincts that most don't even know breastfeeding is normal! I'm not even kidding! It's a shame most of our society thinks that feeding infants the way nature intended is shameful or dirty, when all it is really, is giving life to a precious child. Children are our future, and we need to arm them with as much information as possible.

Have you ever been harassed while breastfeeding? Asked to cover up or leave the room? Please share your stories in the comments and let your voice be heard.

My bedsharing experience ♥

Danarai asked an excellent question the other day and it really got me thinking. Before I had Matthew, I thought bedsharing was careless, lazy and harmful. I wouldn't hesitate to judge anyone if they didn't have a crib for their kid. Then I was pregnant, and struggling lol, freaking out about not having a crib one day, so my mom went out and got one. Fast forward to the day he was born... It was HORROR having the nurses tell me I needed to put him in his bassinet and get some sleep.. It was so hard for me to sleep with him just a foot away, but I listened and kept telling myself it was what's best for his safety. We went home 2 days later and I had a small bassinet and the crib, but I used the bassinet so that he could be on the bed with me. I remember still, feeling like he was too far away. That lasted for 3 weeks, until one day Matthew was in the crib so I could really sleep because I was EXTREMELY exhausted and accidentally sleep walked him into bed to nurse with me while I slept. I woke up and realized he was nursing, and had absolutely no memory of getting him out of the bassinet. I was terrified. I still thought bedsharing was horrible. I posted about the incident and my friends laughed and said their kids have slept with them, and a lot of moms sleepwalk lol. I thought long and hard about the whole thing, decided that I need to sleep when Matthew sleeps, and as an added bonus he can nurse while we both sleep?!?!!  I was sold. We have been bedsharing since and I'll never look back. ♥

InstaGC tips

If you use InstaGC read this. Here are all of the things I do to make sure I get my points. I make most of my points by myself, not from referrals. But make sure you refer people too, because every point adds up.

Do ALL the daily surveys you qualify for. If you don't qualify the first time, try again.

Clear your cookies often! If a survey doesn't credit right away, (more than an hour) CLEAR YOUR COOKIES. I had 3 pending surveys credit at the same time by clearing.

Are you only using a phone? That's okay. Download Chrome and set it as your default browser. Then click on the guides and make sure Chrome is set as your browser on IGC.

Now that you're on Chrome you can hit 'request desktop website' and complete offers only people with computers can usually do.

Crowd Flower. CF is awesome. Play with CF for a while and watch the points stack up.

Peanut Labs has surveys for 20-100 points and even if you get disqualified you still get one point.

Downloading apps: don't just download and delete, play in the app for 3-5 minutes, and don't delete the app until it credits. Apps usually take at least 15 min to credit.

AND FINALLY, a lot of offers ask you for your email address. Sometimes you have to check your spam folder and see if they want you to confirm your email. Always confirm when they ask.

Earning money online is EASY!

If you don't have a job, and your kids still take naps... And you spend a few hours on Facebook each day... You have no reason not to try IGC :)

I spend like 3 hours a day, at my leisure (usually in pajamas! Lol) doing surveys, watching videos and downloading apps on my Android. It's ridiculous how easy it is once you read the guides and figure out your way of completing surveys. I've made $ 130 in a little over 3 weeks!!! I converted most of my points into instant gift card codes for websites like Amazon and Etsy ♥ It's awesome, really really helped me out with Christmas. I can't thank IGC enough for allowing me to earn extra spending money.
